The 8th national retreat of the Association of Retired Ministers and Missionaries (ARMM) was held in Branson, Mo., October 15-18. According to ARMM President Ralph West, the retreat “exceeded all our expectations.”
This year’s retreat included 296 retired ministers and missionaries, their spouses and/or widows from 31 states and Canada. According to West, those at the retreat represented more than 11,600 years of service to God and the Church of the Nazarene.
The event featured USA/Canada Regional Director Bob Broadbooks as speaker, and musicians C. Wayne Rice and Renda Brumbeloe.
Pensions and Benefits USA Director Don Walter said, “Without these men and women and others like them, the Church of the Nazarene would not be the denomination it is today. We thank God for them.”
