Planning for retirement is essential, and it doesn't have to be difficult. The Nazarene 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan allows lay and ministerial employees of Nazarene churches and church agencies, evangelists, and registered Nazarene chaplains to invest for retirement through Fidelity Investments. Funds invested by salary deferral are not taxed, and at retirement, ministers may receive the funds as tax-free housing allowance (subject to IRS guidelines). Plus, when your church contributes to the Pensions and Benefits Fund, it makes employees eligible for Annual Pension Supplements from Pensions and Benefits USA (see our APS FAQ for details). Learn more about how investing in this tax-advantaged program can enhance your retirement years by selecting the Nazarene 403(b) Retirement Plan tab on the left.

Pensions and Benefits USA also administers the Single Defined Benefit Plan, which includes the former Basic Pension Plan for eligible persons who had service in the Church of the Nazarene prior to 1996. If you had service during this period in the Church of the Nazarene, learn more by selecting the Single Defined Benefit Plan tab on the left.

We encourage you to learn more about the programs that apply to you, and to take advantage of the retirement resources available at our website and Fidelity Investments.
